The novel presents us Emily Thompson a representative figure for young people today, who spend more time on the internet looking for friendships or relationships that have not been outside cyberspace. Emily lives in New York, has a job in an art gallery and a boyfriend. Overnight however, oversetter if things change and remain without job and without being loved part of the family. Then it becomes dependent on Craigslist, a site where there is everything: from jobs, events and meeting men.
To begin their search for a roommate, one that rarely comes home and proves that it is an escort, what an upset Emily.
