Reset value of Identity Column in SQL Server if you are the one who use Identity column in a table on SQL Server, you can set it to start up anywhere you need it, such as if you want to start up in 1000. instead of the one you were able to use a command like this: DBCC CHECKIDENT (orders, anibis RESEED, 999) the next time it is used it is Reseed + 1 on which we set to Reseed a 999 is to be made.
