These verses of the hymn so popular To the great Martyr St. George yesterday dwew to all corners of Savina Square where boarding witnessed the statue of St George Patron of Gozo (2008) and the feature Feast this year. As has happened in the last days of the crowd that attended was something extraordinary. All this is great considering it was a Saturday or Sunday on holiday. As the photos show started on Friday when we had lunch feast "The Qirew" and until yesterday du proprio almost daily the squares of Beltna was crowded with people so that both business owners in center du proprio as well as some among us Maltese stated that they surprised us with so great participation of the people at the feast of St. George.
In yesterday's demonstration rang our Band and St. Mary Olive Gozo. Both bands left St George and moved along in the latter part of the march which led to Savina Square was already packed with people. (Photo: Mario Casha)
